Newfoundlanders Being Exposed To Banned Pesticides And Government Is "Approving" It

The following are the lists of pesticides “approved” for use by the Department of Environment & Conservation in NL
for the 2012 season.

Please take note that the following pesticide ingredients are banned in NL for Cosmetic uses:
Carbaryl
2,4-D (2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid)
mecoprop
dicamba
MCPA (2-methyl-4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid)
Please Also take note that Diazinon has been banned federally across Canada for all lawn and turf uses since 2004 (some 8 years).
