Make Your Own Baked Frozen Fries From Scratch | Recipe

It's easy to make your own organic frozen french fries for a fraction of the cost of store bought and most importantly,
you know what's in them!

Wash and if you like, you can peel 5lbs of organic potatoes.
(Skin on is a healthier and quicker option)

Slice potatoes in the shape and thickness of your preference.
For evenly cut potatoes I like to use a mandolin.

Soak the potatoes for at lease 15 minutes in cool water to remove the starch, drain and pat dry.

Toss the potatoes in a large freezer bag with organic olive oil and fine ground celtic or real salt to taste.  Shake bag to coat them evenly.

Spread the oiled potatoes out evenly on several baking sheets.

Bake thinly sliced potatoes for 15 to 20 minutes on 450, longer depending upon their thickness, turning them once about halfway through the cooking time. When they are done, a fork will easily pierce them and they will be lightly golden but not 100% browned..

Remove the fries from the oven and set them aside to cool completely before freezing.

Place the fries back in the freezer bag used for tossing,
freeze and use them as you would store bought frozen fries.

Place the frozen fries on a pan and bake in a pre-heated oven on 350
until golden and as crispy as you like :)
