Radius Source Toothbrush Review | Why You Should Go Green With Your Pearly Whites

Did you know it is estimated that about 50 million pounds of plastic goes into landfills each year just from toothbrush disposal alone!

That's actually just in America and it just for those little plastic thingies we use every day to clean our teeth.  There are alternatives to the conventional toothbrush which will help reduce the amount of plastic dumped into the landfills.

I sifted through several green toothbrushes and one that appealed to me was the

Because I have receded gums from heavy brushing in the past, a soft and good quality toothbrush is very important to me. While there may be even "greener" natural toothbrushes on the market, it is also very important for your dental care that the toothbrush is gentle on your teeth and gums and preforms well at cleaning.

When I first noticed these brushes at our local Dominion (Loblaws) grocery store, I was a little put off at the size of the head. I generally go for small head toothbrushes because I have found that the larger heads beat up my mouth when trying to reach my back teeth.

"The Radius Source Toothbrush provides an all-over mouth clean that leaves you feeling like you just went to the dentist. With 4500 premium bristles (200% more), the soft, wide head of fanned out bristles helps improve gum health by massaging sensitive gums while brushing.
Reversible handle allows for both Right and Left-handed brushers. Bristles are 100% Vegetable Based Nylon for a petroleum free option. Product is BPA Free, Latex Free and Phthalates Free. The brush comes with one of three handles made with upcycled materials like wood, paper and even recycled dollar bills.

Ok what matters even more....This is a wonderful toothbrush! The bristles are very soft and they cover the tooth surface completely, it does a fantastic job at cleaning the teeth without causing any gum irritation. The head is tapered in a way so that it is narrow enough to get the back teeth with ease yet wide enough to clean behind the front teeth with less brush strokes."

I have been using this brush for about a month now and there is no visible signs of wear to the brush...I'm loving how this brush is clean & green!  These cool looking green brushes would make great stocking stuffers for the whole family  I bet the kids won't even groan.

So check them out, order on-line or purchase them at one of your local retailers
And add a little green to your dental routine :D

  1. Awesome. I have a Terradent toothbrush with removable heads, and since I actually have the "Youth" version the heads are tiny. I've had it for awhile (years) although sometimes I go back to regular toothbrushes when I can't find the heads. Whenever I find any for sale I stock up.

The Terradent handle is plastic not compostable, so I think Radius beats it for green-ness.
