Spiced Chicken With Roasted Vegetables & Asparagus Recipe

This was delicious and very simple to make.



Recipe:
1 Large organic yellow potato per person (scrubbed with skin left on)
1 Large organic carrot per person (scrubbed with skin left on)
1 tbs organic olive oil
10 stalks of organic asparagus per person
4 grass-fed organic chicken drumetts per person (or any cut of chicken with the skin on)

4 tbs Organic sesame seeds (grind in a coffee grinder to make a flour)
1 tbs Organic Chinese 5 spice
1 tsp Organic tamari sauce
1 tsp Raw Organic honey

Cut the potatoes and carrots in strips with a mandolin or sharp knife.  Coat with olive oil and place on a baking sheet.  In a bag or a bowl mix sesame seeds, 5 spice, honey and tamari then toss the chicken in the mixture coating the chicken completely.  Put the chicken on another baking sheet.  Place the chicken in the oven on 400, after 20 minutes, place the vegetables in the oven and roast another 15 minutes.

Warm the asparagus and serve with a little Celtic sea salt or grass fed butter.
